MV's- Gladius and other 18.5" owners alike?...Over

I'm looking to hear from the Gladius owners as well as other .308 18.5" barreled shooters about what kind of muzzle velocities are you getting. To keep it simple and in an apples to apples sense. I'd like to use FGMM 168 and 175 loads as a standard. So what do you guys got?

Also I called GAP and the were unable to advise on the actual barrel length of a Gladius. They say 18" but was unsure if this was from the lug or breech to muzzle. So if someone can offer a solid answer on that conundrum as well.

I've got a 18.5" barrel on one my rifles. My dope card "perfectly" matches 2630fps on FGMM 168's.

Checked the 175 FGMM at 2585 10 shot avg. out of my 18 incher.

Bartlein 5R 1 in 11.25.

Kreiger 19", 1-11" twist, 178 Amax is 2634. Not exactly what you asked but close enough.

I figured there would be a few more gladius owners out there to chime in on their speeds and barrel length from end of brake to the lug.

I've got a Gladius and it prefers the 155gr Scenars. I shoot Southwest Ammo.
Dont have an exact velocity out of the barrel yet but I know it will bughole 10 rounds at 100 yards!

The KUKRI is an 18 incher and the velocities are running greater than 2500 fps.

As far as barrel length (although I can't speak for the GLADIUS), the "legal" barrel length is measured from the bolt face, which is how the KUKRI is measured.
