I'll have one in the next couple weeks. I hear a lot of issues about over gassed guys with a suppressor. How true is it?

I'm thinking instead of switching buffers I'm going to change to Tubbs flat wire, and then if needed use the gas tube insert or adjustable gas key from RCA.

Will be using the 308 full auto carrier and the buffer that comes with the completed lowers. Would like to get stuff ordered now if anyone has any experience with their most recent production.

13.5 308 and
24" 6.5.

Would guess that be 308 would be well over gassed and the 6-5 would be about right. Looking for people with first-hand experience only

Have both. The 13.5 and 16 inch factory 308 barrels have always ran hot, so one has to consider that when deciding what type of can to use. I would highly recommend against any full size, higher pressure quiter at the muzzle type cans. Way over charges the system. I did this to my 13.5 with gmt-300wm can. Short story, way to much bolt speed, failures to feed, violent recoil.

Got a sandman k, dropped in a slash buffer and it is perfect.

As for the 6.5. Zero issues with full size 30 cal can. Also never had an issue with a 20 inch CL or 18 SS with that same full size can that overcharged the 13.5 and 16.

Black River Tactical has EZTUNE gas tubes you can swap out to adjust your gas drive on the MWS. I have barely shot this thing and I am in love with the features and aftermarket support.
