My Airsoft Rifle

well I got my airsoft rifle put together. I got invited to a big Airsoft tournament by a weirdo so I figured I needed to build a rifle to be competitive against these hardcore elite commandos, this is what I came up with, what do you guys think? Wonder who will be victorious!

for the guys that know me, here is the ACOG w/ Docter I got from a buddy for 400 bucks

I used to joke around like this on the net but I did not want to get my door kicked in by jack booted thugs at 4AM and have my dog shot so I quit doing it.

If the 'jack booted thugs' plan their early morning door kicking based on what we post here I'm amazed there are not a multitude of splintered doors!

ha ha funny stuff. I did this out of humor, and My older brother and I have been remeniscing on the days in the early 90's when the anti gun deucherockets made a push to put the orange tip on all toy guns. Funny to see the phases of culture in america concerning toy guns(airsoft and the like).

lets look back shall we. In the 80's when I was a wee lad toy guns were made to look as close to if not exactly like the real gun it was depicting. Then came the idea that it HAD to have some distinguishing feature so all would know its a toy so they put bright orange caps or plug in the barrel(which as a kid we popped off as soon as we got it home). Then they started making the entire gun bright colors, maybe a tiger stripe pattern in yellow and flurescent green (come on you remembe those) BUT they still were copies of real guns. At some point they did away with looking at all like a real ones and more like something out of a cartoon. intersting...

as for me, I have a 4 year old, do I care if his toys look like real guns or gonna "de-sensitize" him to firearms? not at all, I grew up with them and didnt turn into mall shooter. Its all in the parenting in my book. Sorry for the rant, just givin discussion points and back brief on why I painted a flash hider orange.

I am laughing at the description of evolution, I agree. I also strongly agree with the parenting issue. Any plans on stipping the orange paint, or is this going to be an ongoing thing or trend? (not that I ever plan on painting my F/H orange....)

Frankly, I'm more than a little surprised no asked whether you used cerakote or durakote; did you bake it or use the air dry; and who stocks that particular color (LOL).

Two questions: #1 what in the world is the point of air soft? Is it like paintball for liberals?
