I love its current configuration it is a dream to shoot.

I am in the process of doing the same type of thing. When I bought my AR basic I said well this will be my beater rifle. Well, now I just changed the trigger to a Geissele SSA Trigger, got a VLTOR MOD 1, put Sure Fire rails on it, and last weekend I ordered a AAC M4/1000 for it. I just can't keep well enough alone.

How did you paint the red into the receiver? I have seen others like that but I have asked how it was done.

Elmers paint pens at Walmart. They were like $2.70 a piece. It was super easy and looks awesome.

Nice job.

I am currently working on converting an A2 into a DMR type. Just waiting for the MagPul PRS and BUIS to finish it off. I'll post pics when the stock arrives tomorrow.

I'll keep an eye out for that GunTech. These stinkin ARs are just too fun to keep modding.
