Movie Theater My Cousin Vinny (Classic, re-made)

So tell me this. If the Hollywood movie machine can continue to churn out cheesy remakes and poor-quality "original stuff", why can't they come up with a good sequel/prequel to this great movie?

Sound off, tell me I'm not crazy. It could either be a 20 years later and how far he's gone, or something else entirely.

Either way, that movie doesn't get old, and is enjoyable each time it is watched.

What do you think? Start a trend, get this going?

They should remake the movie on the merit of that one scene alone.

They need to leave that movie the fuck alone.

They can keep footloose but they cant have my cousin vinny.

No way no how should that movie be redone/prequeled/sequeled or any other form of remix

yeah, I screwed up on the title. My intent was something to follow up with this, not do it over again.

That would just ruin it.

I was thinking something more along the line of Lethal weapon series, or Thing. Along those lines.
