Re: My Czech sniper rifle
There's a whole industry out there for restoration of former military rifles. Except mine. There were so few made, and even fewer brought here, that finding parts is rough. I talked to a guy with a complete one, the adjustable recoil pad assembly on his does not have a maker's mark. There are a couple of assemblies available that are close in the US, but no one knows who made the original or how I can get one. I even emailed Czechpoint, as their factory made this rifle. No dice. Same with the bipod. I wish I could read Czech, it would open up some possibilities. My quest continues. I'll see if I can shoot some of the Silver Bear out of her Saturday.
