Range Report My M-40 range report

Just thought I would share...I have had this rifle for about two years, and it's been a really good rifle for me. The actual gunsmithing was done by a friend of mine, I did all the stock work. I have taken a few heads of game with it and it seems to function really well in the field. I thought I would post a couple pics from the other days range session. Didn't break any records by any means but, it seems we never see anyone shoot these rifles. I will tell you when I am shooting this rifle at any distance at all...the guys from Vietnam who actually used these rifles really get my respect. I am so spoiled on today's optics that shooting one of these well, is tuff work. I'm not a wus by any means but these rifles will thump you pretty good with that metal but-plate.

This is a 15 shot group shot at 100yds.

They build good rifle but prepare to wait for it. It took me a little over a year to get mine.

Your lucky. I just got my Win M70 version and it took 22 months..

He gauranteed it would be complete by April. All the parts are together he is just waiting on the stock.

Yeah, he told me 2 weeks every 3 weeks for 5 months..

But I am sure you made it look easy. Good looking rig. Hope I get a chance to see it up close.
