Picked up my Sako M995 a couple days ago!

This rifle us in like new condition.
I'm really liking the short bolt throw and the action is extremely smooth!

I believe I could make the action a little smoother yet though.
When the bolt handle assembly passes the safety it is rubbing the safety lever.
Tryed to show in the pics..

Here is the mark on the bolt from brushing the safety lever.
You can just barely see it on the edges of the black.

Would it be alright if I ground alittle off the inside of my safety lever just to prevent it from touching the bolt?

Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet the rings that came on it were hit at some point and distorted so I'm going to have to get some new rings. Still unsure which ring method to go with because I'm not set on which optic to run on this rifle. I'm either going to use my SN-3 or maybe buy a Razor 5-20 or Nightforce.

Either way I'm not sure if I want to go with the Spuhr or Sakos three ring mount?
I know the 3-17 t-pals won't fit the spuhr so I guess that would be out if I decide to use my USO..
