Blueprinted savage short action from a model 11 hog hunter 308. Custom recoil lug, krieger 28" 9 twist 5r with threaded muzzle and spiral flutes by Kampfeld. Rifle basix sav 1 trigger. Accurate mag bottom metal and dbm. Manners t3 stock. 20 moa base and warne rings. Bushnell 6500 6-24x50 G2DMR FFP. Tacops shell holder. This gun has run 25 rounds so far and we hit 3200fps with the 150gr nosler accubond long range at 2.956" and 55 gr of IMR 4350. Loose primer pockets at 56 gr but the speed was 3257. Accuracy was excellent around 3150 and 54 grains. I'm very proud of this build because of the velocity reached and the accuracy. Hopefully I can run the 168 bergers north of 2950 if the 150 ablr doesn't pan out. Fingers crossed!
