Finally found myself in a position to own a custom 308. I went with a Surgeon Scalpel in 308. 591 Surgeon action/ Manners T2A stock/ Bartlein 24" barrel/ Jewell Trigger adjusted to 2 lbs./ NF 5.5-22x50 mil-mil scope/ Seekins rings. Can't wait to shoot it this weekend.

Thanks for looking.....

What a pity for the low quality pics.
this rifle deserves better pictures!</div></div>

I agree - better gun porn pics are needed.

Re: My New Surgeon

Correct Sheckie, 1:11.25 twist...

I shot it this morning in crisp late fall conditions here in N. Kentucky.

39 degrees with a 12 -15 mph cold wind out of the north.

100 meters with factory FGMM 168gr SMK's

After shooting consistent 1/2"-3/4" groups (per Surgeon's guarantee) I re-tensioned the action screws (backed them off a little) and started to get much better groups.

I can't wait to reload as I see groups really starting to shrink.

We'll have to work out a load to see the full potential, however, you're off to a good start. pc
