It's my first precision rifle and I love it so far. I just ditched the hogue stock and got a HS Precision take off. I also just finished my first (poor) attempt at throwing some paint on it. The wind wasn't cooperating and my stencils weren't the best. I'm going to take what I learned and give it another shot.

Re: My SPS Tactical

Maybe just blend it in a little better. Other than that it reminds me of multicam but better. The thing I don't like about a lot of paint jobs (or hydro-dipping) is they look too perfect. Like its an art contest or something.

That's good because that's the look I was going for.

shit, you think that paint job looks bad? I was staring at the puppy like it was a Rembrandt! I like it.

Re: My SPS Tactical

I say that is a good first attempt. Remember multi cam in random so there could be large blotches throughout. If you used the krylon, I have had good luck dusting over it with the rustoleum textured paints.. I use the tan multi colored texture paint ( about 6 a can at wally world) in a still air place at a distance to add a break up and a slight texture, gives the stocka gritty non slip feel. The best is that is has many shades already in it so it works over about any light/ desert camo combo.. Good luck let us know how it shoots.

Yeah, other than that spot, it looks great man. Good work.
