well after a long long long almost endless ammount of years my msg90 clone is done ( minus a forword assist button ) so i took it to the range to get her all sighted in, and iam on a 4" post-a-note at 100 but it got to cold and i froze out so i couldnt finnish sighting it in, that and i need a spotting scope.
i have been around the hk 91 my whole life but have never fired it with an msg90 stock or rubber butt pad, all i can say is wow its night and day, do your self a favor and get a rubber butt pad, and if you have an msg90 stock and want the a2 back plate i can convert your a1 back plate into the a2 i did it to mine and it is just amazing, i could shoot this rifle all day and not feel it in the shoulder.
the gun shot amazingly, the falcon menace 10x40 is awsome but i wish i would have got the 4-14 for a little more zoom, some time a few years from now i will get the side focus ziess conquest but untill then the falcon will have to do the trick.
the psg1 trigger unit is night and day pull the trigger untill it feel hard then just breath and the trigger brakes, was it worth 665 bucks ? thats all in the eye of the beholder
after 5 years of building and over 2k in the build, i must say to hold a rifle like this is amazing, is it all worth it ? idk i have not had but 10 rounds on the build so i cannot say, but i can say those 10 rounds have me pretty excited, actual range pix soon but untill then here are some " in house" pix, stay tuned for a complete reloading write up on the rifle and reloading the brass fired from it as well as load data, also ya i know it looks beat up but i was fitting every thing, making sure every thing is tight but not to super tight, sorry it looks so beat up. new paint comming this spring, a camo with the fish net look or a camo bdu's look not sure yet
