Years ago, I had a to-remain-unnamed "riflesmith" tweak a new Rem 700 .308 for an LE sniper course as Mike R at TACOPS was building my Delta-51 and wasn't going to finish in time.
So that 'smith royally butchered it and Mike was nice enough to fix it last minute - and you can see his signature stock marine-tex treatment. Fast forward it several years and I sent it in to Short Action Customs for a rebarrel (still .308), action truing, and cerakote. I mounted a tan Bushy 3.5-21 with Tremor 2 and Spuhr rings - both picked up on here.
3-shot group is from 100 yards with Factory Fed Gold Match 168 grain, and I'm very happy. And I still have never shot my Delta-51 and have been thinking of putting it up for sale...
