National Match AR-15

I'm looking for a quality National Match AR-15 to make a poor man's MK12 MOD1. I wanted to go through HighCaliber but the upper alone is $2000. So I'm looking for what manufacturer's make quality AR-15A4's.

I saw Bushmaster made one but I've heard their quality is pretty shaky.

Find a local CMP club and join. They will be able to to get solid discounts for you. I got my son's service match rifle AR that way. Great rifle and an even better price and you'll be helping your local CMP club.

White oak upper with match barrel and Rock river lower for a little over a grand *I think* can't really remember what I paid but it wasn't much.

You can make an mk12 upper cheap, WOA BBl is $265, Larue 12" HG is $299, Pri gas block, $60, M4 upper $99, M16 BCG $125, Gas buster CH $50, Rifle gas tube $12,OPS inc mount $180, total is $1078 , you can go with a different brake or FH to bring you under$1000... the lower, you can pick up a RRA or any decent cheapo for $90, full size stock with tube complete $50, LPK $50, so your total rifle will be:

$1268.00 give or take, add $200 for a Gisselle trigger, and I have the same set up, I am holding 1/2 groups with 69 and 77 grn SMK ammo
