Hunting & Fishing Nebraska

I’m looking to meet a friend in Nebraska for some pheasant hunting . He’s from Idaho I live in Oklahoma so that’s about midway.

Looking for a guide for a couple of days nothing fancy any suggestions?

As a farmer in the southeast corner of Nebraska, I do not know of any guides personally. I do know that several hunters from our area go to South Dakota to hunt birds. just not very many birds here.

Hate to say it but unless you want to hunt birds on a preserve, which you could do anywhere, SD would probably be a better idea.

Officially, I haven't heard yet.

It is my opinion and observation that we have rebounded really well from our last hard winter.
I am seeing and hearing quail in very good numbers.

I am optomistic!
Might get to light up the 28ga this fall!

Head to South Dakota.... birds here haven't really bounced back yet (if ever).

I'm in NW Kansas, former "Pheasant capital of the world"

The last few season's we were road hunting and limited out by noon. This drought may be affecting this Novembers bird count.
