Hey guys,

I picked up this action from a very good and well known builder, it was a buddy deal. He's been busy and hasn't been able to help me ID what this is, he finished it and started using custom actions so it was never assembled after being trued... So I figure some of you guys could help.

Known - Remington 700 SA (obviously)
Known - Not side release modified
Known - Blue Printed and Trued
Known - one pin lug and pin not shown
Known - action was used (see physical appearance)
Known - hand lapped, still has compound in it

Suspect - PTG Bolt, but not sure, looks like two piece?
Suspect - Missing safety, needs different trigger or parts missing?

Unknown - Trigger group
Unknown - Rail
Unknown - A Fair Sale Price (high and low would be nice to know, it is for sale)
Unknown - All Other Unknowns :)

I'd like to get it up for sale so I can trade it into a custom action. I was going to keep it for my 20" 308 barrel, but I have a too good of a deal on a custom action and can't really pass that up.

Any help would be apprecaited!! Thanks guys.

I would say PT&G bolt. Looks like an older Remington trigger (the good one) with the safety lever missing. That's all I got. Good luck.

Yup, maybe an older PTG bolt & also agree its an old style Remmy trigger with the solid wider trigger shoe, but the safety and bolt stop release lever are or missing. These are good triggers when properly adjusted.

Yes, this is a perfectly functional part.

I know it's missing the safety lever, but I think the bolt stop is there, oh wait, do you mean the part that let's the trigger activate the bolt release? I think I see what you mean.
