Need advice on new build

Getting ready to send a Remington VSSF in 22-250 to GAP.

It'll be chambered in 260 Rem, and I won't be shooting any VLD bullets. Probably stick with 140-142 grain bullets.
What twist rate would work good with those?

Also want it fluted and threaded.

Is there anything else you would do (to action and barrel) while its there?

I have an 8.5tw and I have no problem shooting 130 VLD and 142 SMK. I would have the action trued while the barrel is off.

+1 on the 8.5 twist. I have a 260AI that shoots most any bullet you want with this twist.
