If anyone can shed any light on this I would appreciate it.

Bought this stock and was under the assumption that it was BDL bottom metal for a R700. I put BDL bottom metal on and this is the gaps I can see.

I was thinking that. I know it is hard to tell with a pic.

Here is a Pic of a Williams and PTG which both are near drop in's to the regular BDL FP. The PT&G is a Direct and the williams needs some loving back by the TG. Definately not a williams...

Re: Need help ID'ing bottom metal inlet

I might ask a few guys I know to look at it. Most of them have the surgeon DBM.

I really think it is one of the DBM inlets like Badger, CDI, Seekins or something. The person I bought it from is absolutely no help. My initial PM to him is unanswered after four hours (despite reading it) so I am thinking he isn't going to help me much.

JCH,

I don't know if these will help, but I pulled a couple rifles out and snapped this pic.

D.D. Ross on the left rifle and Williams on the right rifle

I should have been more specific, a Williams pushbutton style.

Badger and DD Ross BM inlet is too deep for his R700 BM to work without a stack of spacers, the Williams is shallower.
