Gunsmithing Need help on bedding a rifle

I’m getting ready to bed my first rifle and I went to grab the release agent I planed on using ( kiwi shoe polish ) and didn’t realize it had a small hole on top of the container and all the polish has dried up. I was wondering if I could use my Imperial sizing die wax instead. Please oh wise ones of the hide help this silm

Never tried sizing wax, but regular old car paste wax works well. That's all I've ever used.
