I am looking to replace my stock hand guards on my Bushmaster Patrolman Carbine with a quad rail. Looking for some info and some recommendations for a new quad rail with a price around 100- 125 dollars.
Re: Need help selecting AR 15 Handguards/Quad Rail.
Thanks megacab still learning snipers hide. Just starting to use it pretty regularly. Appreciate the recommendation that is the one I was looking at (utg) just wasnt sure what the quality was like.
that claims "22% weight saving and 24% width reduction compared to the Leapers UTG PRO Made in USA Model 4 Carbine Length Tactical Quad Rail System MTU001. The hand guard mount provides 8 screw holes on each side allowing multiple installation positions for the 4 detachable side rails."

If you watch the boards long enough you can snag the Knights Armament RAS for about the price you are wanting to pay. Also check ebay. Literally at least 50 are for sale any time you check.
Re: Need help selecting AR 15 Handguards/Quad Rail.
I would suggest looking at Yankee Hill. They have a few different styles of Free Float Quad Rails to choose from that are in your price range. I have a midlength Diamond Series and its pretty rugged. They also offer a lightweight version thats quite nice. I went with the diamond because it just looks better.I think I paid $110 brand new.
Re: Need help selecting AR 15 Handguards/Quad Rail.
I really like my half quad forend from RRA. I don't use a VFG. The smooth part is much more comfortable in my hand, while having the quad rail in front for other options. The mid length may not fit your system, and I think there are other similar options out there.
Re: Need help selecting AR 15 Handguards/Quad Rail.
Rather than go with the low end rail products from UTG or RRA, spend a couple more dollars and get a Daniel Defense Omega-X 12FSP rail. ALthough they usually cost over $300, Midway as them on sale for $199.
