I just scored up a Sig P226 tactical 9mm with night sights and a threaded barrel and now Im looking for a suppressor. The sights are not real tall and Im concerned they will not clear most cans. Being night sights I dont want to bring myself to throwing them out but I especially do not want to spend money on a POS can. This will be my first suppressor for a pistol and I was just wondering what decent suppressors are out there that others are using and like. Thanks

I use a degroat mk99 on mine. It was 450 when i got it in 09. Cycles well with any ammo i use. My sights are xs 24/7 big dots. I wouldn't shoot in a target comp but as far as engaging ipsc size targets, no prob.

I run a Rugged Obsidian on mine with SIG suppressor sights. One of my favorite suppressed pistol combos.

Holy six year old necro thread batman ! ......but besides that thanks for the info. Especially since i just picked up two (new to me) p226's and plan to apply for my first can this year.
