I have an issue as most people with black lab puppies know they like to chew on stuff.... they can't chew on all the toys we buy them, they have to chew on shit that doesn't need to be chewed on. I have a k-bar bowie, that my adorable lab chewed the handle off of. I have tried going the paracord route, but with the taper of the tang it's just not working. does anyone know of a company that makes replacement, or alternate handles, or of anyone that re-finsihes knives?

do you want another leather washer handle? if so you can make one easy enough, just remove the pommel off your knife, make washers install the pommel, now take the knife to a bench grinder and shape the leather the way you want it, may be a learning curve there. if not you have lots of other options.

not sure if replacing the handle is worth the headache. Barring any sentimental value you may be better off just replacing it. Check out knife center and knives ship free, etc you you can probably replace the whole knife for around $60 if you shop around

this is a k-BAR bowie, it had a plastic/rubber-ish handle, it isn't one of of the ones with leather washer handles
