Photos New 1911

[11B-B4]

I quit contracting for good and decided in a celebratory mood to buy a 1911.

Les and the team took about 7 months making it for me, but it is oh so sweet.

Its a concept VII

Sterile Slide
Single Sided safety
Solid trigger
VZ dirty OD Grips
VZ Radiation screws

I put about 200 rounds through it off and on while shooting a promo video, no jams, and highly accurate.

My brother and I were both pinging 66% IPSC steel at 80 yards with it like it was nothing.

Im going to use it for part time CCW and full time IDPA.


Im not a big 1911 guy, but how long do these last before they start to get sloppy and lose accuracy?

Very nice- you will like that LB. My LB has 13k rounds thru it and counting. It's my go to shooter.

You might be a 1911 guy soon after shooting that one for a while. That Gun is sweet.

20 thousand rounds? 30k? Then a new barrel.. But they last and last and last.. They have been around for a hundred years already..

Nice Les Baer! I like the sterile slide look as well.

The more I shoot my 1911's and my Browning Hi-Power the more in awe I become of the genius that is JMB.
