New AR in burnt bronze

Just finished coating and building this little guy (finally got to cerakote one of my own guns which is nice). Little 7.5" barreled AR pistol in 5.56. VLTOR MUR upper, Spikes lower, IceArms barrel and NIB BCG. Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet (that'll come on Sunday). Came out nicely and I definitely like the two tone with the burnt bronze major components and black for all the small stuff. Should be a fun little thing though (although I'm sure it'll be loud as heck).

If only you could fit it in a IWB holster, Imagine your very own Crocodile Dundee moment, "That's not a Pistol...this is a Pistol!"

Dittos to Scott's comments on BB cerakote. I've done my 24" AR15 rifle in 6 RAT, FN HP 9mm pistol frame, and a friend's 280 AI bbl'd action in burnt bronze, and like the results on all.

Your pistol looks great with the contrasting colors - nice job of CeraKoting!

Added the front cap ring from YHM which actually fit like a glove and took it out for the first function test today. It was undergassing (not quite enough gas to reset the trigger when pushing the M16 BCG). I've opened up the gas port from 1/16 to 3/32 and put a slight chamfer to the top of the hole. Put it back together, I'll take it out this week and see if that fixes it.

Even as a 1 shot gun it is a blast to shoot...but cycling properly it'll be a lot more fun :D.

The fireball kinda envelops you and well, it's concussive but in a fun way. Also, it has almost no recoil...an is surprisingly accurate (far more so than I expected for a 7.5" barrel). As soon as I have it functioning smoothly I'll take some pics of the fireball at the range :).
