Rifle Scopes New Bushnell FFP

Re: New Bushnell FFP

I mounted the Bushnell FFP 3-12x44 on my 6mmART40 today and the tracking was perfect at 300Y ,400Y ,595Y and out to 973 yards.I still had enough elevation left to reach 1100 Yards without a 20 moa base so I'm happy.

Well I already bought an EGW 20moa base. I guess I'll wait for a report before I make a decision. I may look into the Vortex PST.

How important is the FFP? Should I pony up the extra bill for the FFP if I go the PST route?

Edit: I also cannot find any 10 or 15 moa bases for a Savage LA. </div></div>
I'm currently waiting on a Vortex PST 6-24 FFP.
I had the same question about spending the extra money for the FFP. I decided it was worth it because:
A) it allows you to use the Mildots for holdovers at any magnification.
B) FFP seems to be the "wave of the future". If I decide to sell the scope some time down the road, I think the FFP would hold it's value better and be easier to find a buyer for.
