Finally got my .260 all dialed in. The machine work was done by Mike Badella at BM Gunworks in Madera, Ca and the rest was done by me. The specs are as follows: Rem 700 blue printed; Krieger #18 light varmint contour, 5r 1:8 twist, chamber with PT&G .260 reamer with .060 freebore and a .295 neck, finished at 23 inches (22 from lug), threaded 5/8-24 with cap; BM bolt knob; Tubb recoil lug; FDE Cerakote; Manners T5 stock, textured with marine Tex, camo'd and pillar bedded with Devcon; PT&G bottom metal; AICS mags; pre 2006 OEM Remington trigger; TPS 20 MOA scope base, 8-40 screws, bedded to action. The scope is temporary until I get my tax return.

Re: New custom build in .260

This looks a lot like the one I am having built, same caliber and stock and barrel contour. Hope it shoots like this one, that's looking good man! Now you just need a suppressor on it! Oh wait...your state sucks. Come to the free lands brother! And congrats on the sweet stick.

Thanks for the compliments! I'm happy with it, but I need to decide on an optic. I'm thinking $2000 price range and am eligible for LE discounts. Razor HD, USO, and Mark 6 all come to mind. I'm also kind of curious about the Gen 2 Bushnell 3-21....
