Many people need a dragbag, and some don't know which to get, i myself found myself in this spot a few weeks ago, an had seeked advice, so i'm hoping this will in turn help someone else.
Whats a good dragbag? you may have seen this question, or not, most people will refer you to a tacops dragbag. but if you're like me you don't have $350 to drop on a bag, which brings me to this review.
I had recently purchased a ncstar dragbag off of amazon for a meer $77 that's not to bad, some may think if it's that cheap its not very durable, or cheaply made. I'm going to go over the features of the bag and point out the pros/cons that i noticed.
The bag itself can be folded up fairly small and fit inside a 2x2 box, which i noticed from talking to a fellow hide member, he is having problems shipping his tacops bag due to it being so large.
The shoulder straps-
I feel like these straps are a very nice feature and its what i wanted on my dragbag, they have a nice system on them to allow the hookup of any hooked item, there is a metal loop to attach things to.It has a belly strap that is adjustable for smaller or larger people, and has two metal loops towards the bottom to clip-in to the shoulder straps for a snug fit, it even comes with a extra pair of a 3 pronged hook/clip peice incase you lose yours or something breaks. The shoulder straps can be concealed inside the pack it has its own special velcro pocket to keep them away, and it can even be used for extra storage space, after tugging on the straps they feel rock solid.
The front of the bag-
Has a nice look to it, has a clear plastic cover for putting a card or something in if you was shipping the bag or if it was lost. It has a Handle torwards the right side that can be put into a velcro pocket so it isn't sticking out, which the pocket can be used for storage. There is some clips that go around it to keep it together, or for using to attach it to something, has double zippers that seem solid, i don't think they'll break anytime soon,but i'm sure they will one day, all zippers do.
It has a flap to cover the zippers all the way around, which i assume is to keep them from getting dirt in them, or catching on something. Has a brief case handle style, One handle on each side of the bag, with a velcro cover to attach them.
There is one more handle on the opposite side from the zippers, with a small pocket aswell, i assume it's for a hand-over the shoulder carry.
Inside the bag-
It has a slip for the barrel to fit into, and a clip to go around the stock of the gun, it seems solid and i don't think it will break, however i am disapointed that the part that holds the stock isn't a tie-off, it's a plastic piece with rubber-band type rope. however, there is a spot where you can attach those extra clips i mentioned earlier and wrap those around the gun. so that is a plus.
There is a section for ammo, and a zipper storage pouch, which is fully removable which i find nice,same goes for a clear covered one on the left hand side with a zipper storage area, fully removable.
There is no bipod leg holders on this bag, which isn't that important to me. The one downside i do see with laying on this pad, is that the plastic piece that holds the gun, isn't removable unless you untie/cut it, which can poke you depending on how you position yourself.
It has a fold out piece that extends about another foot.
The elbow pads are covered in a texture much like you see on stockpacks for non-slip I'm a big guy, 5'11 and not on the featherweight side, but this mat gives a goodbit of padding, and i fit fully on it with my feet hanging abit.

Overall i think its a great dragbag for the price, if you are like me and you arn't hitting the range every weekend, not crawling around on the ground like tom B, i think it's a great bag to snag for a good price. I can't attest to how long it will last, but i forsee it lasting me for a few years, and for only around $70 it's a great deal.
- don't mind the scopeless/boltless gun, i'm awaiting for those to arrive
