Hey guys - I mostly joined so I could see all the great rifle pics better, but I hope to learn a few things as well. I got a little bored of putting together AR15's and wanted to try something different. So, I bought a Rem 700 SPS Tactical AAC-SD in 308 and ordered a KRG Bravo chassis before the rifle even got to my FFL. I've also added a TriggerTech Special trigger (an impressive improvement over the stock trigger), Seekins Precision mount and rings along with a scope I had sitting around (saving for a better scope).

While it's no high dollar, uber-accurate setup I see so many of here, I think it'll work fine for me to learn on. Here's a crappy cellphone pic.

I actually haven't shot it yet. I know I should've done that first, but I need to find a range to shoot at (we just have the police range here, and I don't think it goes out very far). We're getting too many neighbors nearby for me to feel comfortable shooting in my back yard anymore. I've got to get the scope sighted in and then get a few different types of 308 to see what it likes best. Then I'll go for groups. I'll be happy if it's 1 MOA - very happy if it's less. I don't hunt, and won't be competing. I just want something capable of ringing steel out to 600 yards or so.

I have a house in NC, and I go up there fairly often, so I may try to find a range up there to test the accuracy. I'm sure it'll be way more accurate than I am, but that's what practice is for.
