NEW GAP, IBA, MICKSTERS OLD RIFLE

Along with my very first GAP I would like to show the Hide members my other two babies.
The black one is an IBA Chandler Sniper in .308. I like to call it my M40-A5. Topped off with an MST-100.

The Green one you have seen before. I bought it from Mickster back in 08 before the rules changed. This rifle was built for F-class. I have topped it off with a US Optics SN-3 3.8 X 22 power. I hope you guys like them as much as I do.
I have a green US Optics MST-100 coming for the new GAP.

When I bought the .300 Rem. SAUM (GREEN) I believe Mick said it was a McMillan stock but I don't know the model number. It looks just like their competion "F"-Class stock. Empty with the scope it's 24 pounds. The Black IBA .308 with the MST-100 scope, empty it's 17 pounds. And the New GAP built .308 Cammo in the AICS stock is 19 pounds empty. They are all heavy but I don't hunt and the recoil is minimul.

how are you liking the Monopod? I have been thinking about it but have not pulled the trigger, so to speak, on one yet? May be a Christmas item for the year

The Monopod is very nice. This is the first one I have used on any of my rifles and I have to say it adds stability. Bags are great too but your always playing with it to find the right spot. The Monopod is adjustable. Once you have the Bipod set, pull down the Monopod, run it up or down until your sights are dead on and lock it in place. I have not put many rounds down range yet but for the few I have I like it. Good investment.

Nice rifles but how about you save some MST-100's for the rest of us.
