FIXIT Stix

I really had some things to Do this evening but this pack showed up. A while back I was discussing on the hide the problem I was having, being able to check action screw torque without having to take apart some aspects of some chassis I had. As an example AI.

They contacted me a few weeks ago to let me know they were working on a solution and would send one out to review when they were done. They hit the nail on the head with this one. I took a picture next to a driver extension that I found with a lot of research. It still didn't fit.

BUT THIS ONE DOES!!. It is very nicely engineered to fit into every chassis i own. The end is rounded in case you have slightly less than straight access to your Allen screw. Way to go guys.

That "driver extension", which is shown in your pictures, is an original Borka Tools 3/16" hex ball end 3.5" long bit. It was designed in 2011 by me to work with very popular, at that time, Gen 1 (aka "legacy") AICS. The following year, AI started offering Gen 2 AICS, and in the process, they reduced diameter of the access holes to the action screws from 0.25" to 0.22". Of course, AI did not make it public prior to release of Gen 2 AICS, so when I've found out that the original AICS bit no longer fits Gen 2 AICS access hole, I re-designed the bit for use with any AICS (both Gen 1 and Gen 2). It is called Universal AICS bit, and is being offered since early 2015. It is included as a standard component of Borka Tools PTL053K-AICS kit, and on request, with other Borka Tools kits. For more information, see:

One of our customers even made a related video, which was posted right on the front page of this website in 2015:

Jimmy Wener, the guy from Brown Line Metalworks, who is behind the sales of Fix It Sticks branded Sloky torque limiters, is doing a fine job of copying my ideas for various torque tool kits. He also basically copied my Universal AICS bit design concept, including 3/16" hex ball end, a short 1/4" hex shank and didn't even bother to change the overall length of 4", which is somewhat longer than practically needed because his Sloky torque limiters are 1/2" in diameter. It is easy to see how much length of "Jimmy's AICS bit" is wasted from the picture presented by ocabj in the post above.
