Hello all and thank you for all the great information shared here. I started to play with long range about a year ago and have avoided a few mistakes from reading the forum. So far I have a Tikka CTR in 260 Rem, a Bergara HMR in 308 Win, and just purchased a Bergara BMP in 6.5 CM. The 260 and 308 are wearing Vortex Vipers, haven’t ordered a scope for the BMP yet but I’m leaning toward a PST 2 in 5-25X50. Again thanks for all the great information.

Also working on the farm to stretch out my range, we’re at 300 yards now and hope to have it cleared out to 500 by the summer.

Where at in northeast ky, we have a pretty active group in the Ashland area, pulling in 25-30 shooters for our club matches. Northeastern Kentucky fish and game club has steel targets at 200, 300, 400 yes on practice range and steel targets out to 750 yds for matches and scheduled club practice days.

I live in the Grayson area. I belonged to Northeast until I bought the farm and it’s been my range since. That was the first thing I did was to clear off where I could shoot 200 yards. I may have to check it out after I get my load developed for the Bergara BMP and HMR.
