I'm a new member from the Tampa Bay area, Riverview to be specific. Currently the only ling rsnge shooting I do is the occasional 3-400yd shot at a 3 gun match. I shoot limited with a Vortex Spitfire AR and a 14.5in Faxon GUNNER barrel, I love the challenge of limited social stay here for awhile. I shot my first Major in October, Blue Ridge Mountain 3 Gun Championship, had some difficulties with the long shots but haven't been doing this long and just need more practice shooting at long distances.
Got a decent prize table pick that contained a Luth AR MBA4 stock and chubby grip, along with some other smaller items. I figured these could be the basis for a long range rifle as I have a Mega forged upper and lower I was saving for a build like this. I plan on purchasing the missing adjustable pieces to turn the MBA4 into an MBA3. During Black Friday sales I picked up a Seekins 15in sp3r rail. I also received a couple odds and ends as Christmas presents, Vendetta extended ambition charging handle and trigger guard. The current plan is to build it into a 224v using an ARP barrel, when possible I plan to use parts I pick up off of prize tables at 3 gun majors that I'll be shooting this coming year. Once the build is finally finished I'd like to try out some gas gun matches to see how I like them.
