Well if you want either of those 1-4 scopes you mention, SWFA has many of them for sale used on Samplelist:

This is a relatively new phenomenon, so something is triggering lots of people to sell their 1-4's recently. Maybe they are upgrading to the new 1-6's.

I'd go for the IOR Valdada 1-8x26, it will make a big difference in light with the bigger 35mm tube as well better shooting at the long distances!!

You really like the Bushnell that much. I really like the Bushnell but I did not feel it was as nice as the Swarovski, mainly the glass. I will say the Bushnell FFP is really nice. I tend not to be a fan of FFP scope under 10x but the Bushnell RET works really well in FFP and SFP. For the price, quality, and features the Bushnell gets a big thumbs up.
