Fair enough, more specifics
Two of the scopes will be for 223 cal rifles, one bolt one ar. I want a good quality optic with a good varmint hunting reticle.
The second is for my 308 for tactical shooting shooting and load development
Moa/Moa for all three with exposed turrets
Wanting as much magnification I can get for the money
I have a firm 1500 to spend for these

A few used Bushnell 4200 elite 3-15x50's will be close, but perhaps 100-200 over the 1500 total. They sell on here used for around $550-600.
Unless you need FFP you may could get a 4-16x50 Viper PST in SFP for around $550 used.
The Nikon M-223 might be a good choice for the AR or 223 bolt gun to save some coin, but I'm not on record for claiming it's a superior optic. It'll work for your application though. The Leupold Mark AR is perhaps a better option. I have had good experiences with the 3x9 out to 450yds with a RRA operator 2.
Those are the only ones I could recommend based on my experiences and your budget. Good luck in your search.
