Hey guys these are gonna be awesome! Full AB elite, etched reticle (multiple versions), terrapin laser. 3 different mag ranges 8x, 10x, and 12x (all 42mm objective). 7k yards on range reflective, 2k on deer. And the price point will be very attractive for the package. Don’t want to confirm other details yet, but these are gonna be what a ton of people have been begging for.

    NARROW BEAM DIVERGENCE

With its 905 nm, class 1M (class 1 in the EU) laser engine and a narrow beam divergence of only 1.5 x 0.1 MRAD (1.8 x 0.1 MRAD for the 8 x 42 model) it sets new standards in the commercial market segment.

Multiple reticles will be for intended use with a doubler or without. So the dual mag reticle is 2 reticles if you ever intend to use the doubler, or the simple reticle if you don’t.

Looks like two different models (Vector X and Radical X). Vector has 3 magnification models and Radical has 2. So a total of 5 combinations there. Plus the different reticles.

So, seems like there will be somewhere around 10-12 different configurations or so. And then the magnifiers that can be added. All in all, pretty cool. Probably the most you'll be able to squeeze out of a 905nm laser.

    Have they released pricing yet?

I wonder what their warranty policy will be like? I swore off Vectronix when i needed some work on an PLRF15. Hell of a range finder but if you actually use them in the field and happen drop them you'll wind up with a $3500 brick!

    Ask me how I know.......

I really like my kilo 10k’s but wish the glass was better, 12x, and a reticle for matches. Curious what the price point will be.

Does it Bluetooth to a phone/phone app for things like remote trigger/current range? The sigs do that and it's pretty convenient in some situations. But these look really nice!

    Anyone taking preorders?

    MAXIMIZING IMAGE QUALITY

One of the main challenges in creating a superior optical system for the VECTOR X was balancing two important but conflicting technical objectives. On the one hand, achieving a color neutral image was of paramount importance – especially for hunting use cases. On the other hand, it was maximizing the brightness of the innovative Active Matrix OLED display that is capable of displaying all crucial range and ballistic information on a single screen. Both of these objectives can be in opposition to each other and needed to be balanced carefully to achieve a superior result.
We achieved this by optimizing the coatings of the VECTOR X and by selecting a display capable of generating very bright images while still featuring low power consumption. As a result, the VECTOR X achieves a color-neutral image without any blueish tint and a display image that maintains optimal brightness even in challenging sunny environments.

    No blueish tint... hallelujah!

These could be a really powerful tool, from

As we embarked on the development of the VECTOR X, it became evident that a similar accessory that increases magnification would be an essential element we wanted to incorporate. This accessory for the VECTOR X are the optionally available Range Enhancers. They also offer an increase in base magnification by 40% and are easily installed by screwing them onto the threaded objectives of the VECTOR X.

    INCREASE MAGNIFICATION BY 40%

The optional Range Enhancers increase flexibility and range of use of the VECTOR X tremendously. With the Range Enhancers installed, your VECTOR X becomes a formidable long-range spotting device:

    • 8×42 VECTOR X increases to 11×42
    • 10×42 VECTOR X increases to 14×42
    • 12×42 VECTOR X increases to 17×42
We recommend opting for a VECTOR X with the MSR-DMR reticle if you plan to frequently use it with the optional Range Enhancers as the MSR-DMR is calibrated for both magnification levels.

AS RUGGED AS THE VECTOR X ITSELF

To ensure durability and protection, the Range Enhancers are equipped with a protective rubber armoring. Additionally, they come with a protective soft case for convenient storage and transportation. It’s worth noting that the flip-up lens covers of your VECTOR X can be used with the Range Enhancers as well. This allows for effective protection of the front lenses, guarding them against scratches and other potential damage.

Does it Bluetooth to a phone/phone app for things like remote trigger/current range? The sigs do that and it's pretty convenient in some situations. But these look really nice!

    Anyone taking preorders?

    APP CONTROL

Your VECTOR X is much more than just a rangefinding binocular and the VECTRONIX SHOOTING SOLUTIONS app is the key to extending its capabilities tremendously. Besides being a convenient tool for adjusting general settings and transferring them to your VECTOR X, the app offers many innovative feature tailored to long-range shooters and hunters. With the app, you generate your gun profiles, which – after having been transferred to your VECTOR X – are used by its onboard Applied Ballistics Ballistic Elite solver to calculate precise firing solutions according to your measured target distances.

    features_mobile-app_second-screen-1024x613.webp

    TARGET CARD

The target card feature of the VECTRONIX SHOOTING SOLUTIONS app allows you to populate a target card for multiple targets. By triggering range measurements remotely with the app, target information and firing solutions for each measured target are arranged in a target card. You can then transfer your target card to an E-DOPE card or save it as a PDF-document. When printed out and cut to size, place your range card in the transparent compartment of the lid of the soft case of your VECTOR X.

    features_pouch-billboard-1024x613.webp

    KESTREL WEATHER METERS

    features_kestrel-hornady-4dof.webp

Kestrel 5700 Ballistic weather meters have become an essential piece of equipment for many long-range shooters and hunters. Not only because they measure important environmental data but also due to their integrated ballistics solvers. The top models of the 5700 are equipped with either Applied Ballistics Elite or Hornady 4 DOF. When you connect your VECTOR X with a Kestrel 5700 Ballistic weather meter, the environmental data measured by it will be used by default by your VECTOR X for calculating firing solutions.

    GARMIN DEVICES

Garmin wrist-mounted computers are robust, high-performance navigational devices engineered to meet U.S. military standards. These rugged devices, equipped with integrated Applied Ballistics Elite software, are widely utilized by military personnel and civilian shooters worldwide. When connected to a compatible Garmin device featuring Applied Ballistics Elite, your VECTOR X transmits precise measurements of distance, azimuth, and inclination to the Garmin device.

    features_garmin-foretrex-701_wide-1024x613.webp

Currently the following Garmin wrist-mounted computers are compatible with the VECTOR X:

    • Foretrex® 701/901 Ballistic Edition
    • tactix® Delta-Solar Edition
    • tactix® 7
    • instinct® 2X Solar Tactical Edition

    BALLISTICS APPS

    features_hornady-4-dof-app.webp

Connect your VECTOR X to the free app version (available for Android and iOS) of the Hornady 4DOF calculator and get highly accurate ballistic solutions even in areas without wireless connection. Since the release of the app in August 2016 its user base has grown to over 300000 active users – a clear testament to the high quality of the Hornady 4DOF ballistic calculator.
The TRASOL iOS app, developed by renowned precision rifle manufacturer Desert Tech, is a great connectivity partner for your VECTOR X. It is a powerful tool for long-range shooters who shoot to 1500 meters and beyond. Besides providing highly accurate ballistic solutions and a very high level of usability, TRASOL also incorporates heads-up display (HUD) technology that uses the built-in camera and onboard sensors of your iPhone and iPad.

Someone really thought through the HUD and listened to the community requests... consider me impressed.

With each range measurement, your VECTOR X measures and calculates extensive additional target information. This information includes the target azimuth, inclination or the precise firing solution calculated by the Applied Ballistics Elite solver integrated in your VECTOR X. However, this wealth of information also presents a challenge. Only if it is well-arranged on the display and in a large enough font size, is the user able to locate the needed information effortlessly.

    EASY TO NAVIGATE HUD SCREENS

Our solution to this challenge are the three separate HUD screens of the VECTOR X that display the target information arranged by order of importance. By pressing the left or right button of the D-Pad of your VECTOR X, you can swiftly toggle between the three HUD screens to access the different types of target information.

    FIRST HUD SCREEN

    features_HUD-1-1024x613.webp

Besides the target distance and azimuth, the first HUD screen displays the most important information for shooting related uses cases: elevation and two windage values (depending on wind direction and speed) calculated by Applied Ballistics Elite. Within this HUD screen you can effortlessly adjust the display brightness level using the up and down buttons.

    SECOND HUD SCREEN

The second HUD screen shows your wind presets (Wind 1 and Wind 2). You can easily adjust the wind speed within this HUD screen with the up and down buttons of the D-Pad. Also displayed on the second HUD screen are the inclination to your measured target and the time of flight of the bullet according to the activated gun profile.
    features_HUD-2-1024x613.webp

    THIRD HUD SCREEN

    features_HUD-3-1024x613.webp

The third HUD screen displays the activated Gun Profile and the remaining energy and velocity of the bullet at the measured target distance.

    NO BALLISTICS

If you do not use the Applied Ballistics Elite features of your VECTOR X, all target information generated with a measurement is displayed on a single HUD screen. Besides the measured distance it shows the target azimuth, inclination and the equivalent horizontal range (EHR).

I wonder what their warranty policy will be like? I swore off Vectronix when i needed some work on an PLRF15. Hell of a range finder but if you actually use them in the field and happen drop them you'll wind up with a $3500 brick!

    Ask me how I know.......
Yeah this right here, the stories of Vectronix leaving retail customers basically to deal with bricked Terrapin Xs has me pretty leary about spending on these.

Did they have bad service with the Terrapin X? I may have missed it, but I thought that was units like the original Terrapin and their other lasers. But that with the Terrapin X, they improved their service.

Swarovorski will warranty their range finding binoculars for ever, Sig and Leica will as well...... as for Vectronix, I've got a PLRF 15 I'll send you to see if you can get them to repair it. Simple drop from my tripod broke the crystal loose and even though they service military units and parts available everywhere they won't repair it.... I'm willing to pay but their customer service is a joke.

Great products, fool me once shame on you.... fool me twice, shame on me!

Yes, specifically for retail customers. If you are non-MIL and you have a problem you are probably not gonna have a good time.

But, I think the 12x42 lrf bino model here lookd great. Vortex, Sig Sauer, Swarovski, Zeiss if you are reading this, this here ☝️is a product line we want.

Any chance they could accidentally slip a 1550nm laser module into some of these 😏😁

Lol glass is gonna be very competitive with tier one stuff. The terrapin x used Leica glass….
And as for the laser lol not a 1550nm but hey one thing everyone knows is vectronix can do a good laser.

Radical X is not an RF bino just a reticle bino fyi.

The binoculars look and feel amazing! Had a chance to play around with them a few months ago, we think they are going to perform awesome.

The RRS Vector-X Mount will be available upon release of the binoculars to the public, through Vectronix Distributors.

The "Vector-X Mount" was made specifically for/in conjunction with Vectronix for the tripod designed mounting ports. Includes a tension knob to remove cant caused by adjusting the Pupillary distance.

Attached are photos of the Pre-production testers.

Got to play with them today. They are tits. Euro optic should be getting them in the next 3 months from what I was told. 5 year warranty on the hardware and 3 on the electronics. Any warranty issues will be handled by euro optic. This came from the rep when I spoke with him.

I have scoured the product pages. I am trying to figure out if each model with 8x 10x and 12x with DMR reticle. Has the appropriate scale for use with the range enhancers. It seems only the 12x model is shown. Can anyone confirm?

Its about damn time! I know a bunch of us have been begging Vortex/Sig/whoever to give us something like this for a long time. I personally would like 15x, but 12x is still an improvement over whats out there now. I am most excited for the tight beam and integrated reticles. Plus the HUD appears to be well thought out.

    They rock.

Everything about these is awesome, it's rare a company nails a product this thoroughly... except for the warranty.

    This has to be worst-in-class...?

Euro has been exclusive for terrapin x customers taking care of them and seemingly will do the same for this too. It isn’t as good as say vortex but with Eurooptic backing it I wouldn’t be too worried.

Yes it’ll work with the 8s and 10s. They picture I took was with the enhancers on the 10s.
