Ok... Yes.. Tonight I picked up a REMINGTON MLR .338 LM (ITEM # 25645)
This one does NOT have the badger bottom metal release and AICS style mag... but DOES have the drop bottom mag.
QUESTION:
Will the other style mag work in this rifle?

I have the rifle listed for sale... It may move...it may not..
IF.. I keep it (THIS THE SECOND MLR THAT I HAVE HAD)... I have to fully set it up as I sold all my components when I got rid of the last one.
I KNOW it is NOT cheap to shoot a .338 LM... But I am looking to utilize the factory stock and just shoot a little with it here and there until I build up enough components to start reloading it again.
*That is all providing I keep it.
SCOPE OPTIONS:
IF and I mean IF I keep it... I am thinking of the SIGHTRON Tactical (Exposed Target Turrets) Scope... NOT sure of the magnification... but I KNOW I am going to want a BUNCH again...
Give me some of your ideas to put this together.... This is JUST the basic rifle sooo here is what it WILL NEED:
L/A Base
Rings (30mm)
Scope
Bipod
Stock Pack? Kharsten?
Sling
Give me your ideas... and if you have pics of a somewhat factory setup...post them up.
