Re: New Rifle to the Range

I loved the ashbury chassis when I got to see/touch it. Yours looks pretty heavy since with the addition of that beafy barrel. The ashbury that I held was heavy. I always wonder if I go back to the same machine gun shoot if he will still be trying to sell it.

Nice rifle. There certainly is a perk to be a gunsmith. Nice looking rifle. Just out of curiosity, how much for the Asburry stock?

Showing those pictures to many of us here is like giving a starving dog a rubber bone (LOL).

What's the material on the foregrip? It changes appearance depending on the angle...very cool and reptilian!

There was a thread a while back about the Ashbury. I seem to remember people were talking about the chassis alone being in the $2k range. That may have just been rumor, but I'm sure people will be paying a premium when they first come out. It's a badass stock.

Re: New Rifle to the Range

MSRP roughly 1500$ for the basic and for the model with all the full lenght rails and all the other goodies, the MSRP is around 2500$.

Why did you go with a gain twist?
</div></div>

Not for Sale as its just a Concept at this point. Ashbury is working on Pricing and delivery timelines. Ill share that when its available.

Why Gain Twist??? Why Not!!!!! LOL

Im still playing with that as well. There is definatly a gain in velocity associated with it and less sensitivity to length of ammo. Hence less load development.

So for no Negative to it at all. Using one on My F Open Gun and set 3 new National Records with it (Retired LE Catagory) Seems to have some merit so for.

Its our New Brake. GAP BRAKE Works really well. Blends into barrels down to .830 at Muzzle.

Re: New Rifle to the Range

Very interesting test rifle, George!

Please keep us updated on the pro's and con's of the gain twist.

I recognize the range, been there a few times myself!

Re: New Rifle to the Range

I like it George...at 17lbs, it's not the lightest but very accurate. Be interested to feel the grip on the stock to see how it fits my hand, I'll have to check it out sometime when I'm by the store. Does most of the weight come from the barrel contour or is that style of stock heavier than most?
