I'm just now getting into precision rifle shooting and had a rifle built this past Fall. I currently run a Tab Gear rear bag, what other rear support bags are any good? Any other bags I should look into for PRS/NRL style matches? I have a local one day match coming up in April I'd like to attend so I'll want to order it ASAP. What mag pouches do you like for AICS style mags, will they work with a regular belt? If not then what gun belt do you recommend? I bought a SAP rifle sling and training with it in my yard. I'm just trying to learn and have fun while doing it. 7039646

Like Delve said, rear bags and other shooting bags have been well discussed on the hide, do some digging and you'll find lots of options. I will say I've recently gravitated to a slightly larger rear bag (AG chinese cheater) for a bit more stability.

For mag pouches, I've found (in my very limited experience) that it depends on the type of match you're doing.
-If it's PRS/NRL style and you'll only need 1 extra rifle mag, a kydex mag holster is the way to go; much easier to get mags in and out of them than a nylon pouch. I have a Big Dog Steel Gen II that I like for that application. About the same price as any other mag holster (including many nylon ones), included the Tec-Lok for belt attachment. Can go on any belt.
-For "sniper" competitions/challenges that include pistol targets as well as rifle that may require more than 1 reload, I recently put together a battle belt with Esstac Kywi double-pistol and 7.62 double-shorty pouches. The kydex inserts can be heated and molded for a tighter fit to hold the thinner AICS mags. These could go on any belt if you didn't want a full battle belt; Esstac even sells Kywi belt loops for exactly this.

Lots of great info here on the forum just do some searches. If you have any specific questions feel free to PM me, I prefer Precision Underground bags when I’m shooting LR. If you’d like to see some good info on them hit me up and I’ll send you a review with photos.

Welcome to SH. There is an incredible amount of information here. As has been mentioned above, the "new-shooter-what-do-I-get" questions have been asked and answered many times. Use the search function - solid advice will be yours.

You will also benefit from upgrading your account to access the Snipers Hide Online Training. It's a real bargain at $15 per month; you can quit any time you like. Early on, I paid for two months and got a lot of good info.

Enjoy!
