Ok so i am no sniper and most of what i know i have read or seen on tv....(not always the best source of info)
But so it seems one of the major roles of snipers, especially today is to collect intel.
This being said, they have the new scopes that have video recording capabilities on them which i would think would be awesome for getting intel.
Go observe, then send your data to the base or whatever via secure link for them to fully review
That being said, there seems to be no push to use any of this technology in the armed forces? Like no companies trying to mesh the ruggedness and precision of a service scope with the technology of these recording ones.
Am i just not aware of it? am i missing a key element?... i think it would be a good thing for a small recon team to use?
professional and no professional opinions please?
