Hello,

I just received this rifle a week ago, it belonged to a deceased Uncle of mine so I know very little about it. If you know anything about it or have ever seen one like I'd like any information I can get.

What I know: It appears to have been build by Hart Rifle Barrels company. It is a sleeved Remington 700 action. I believe it was built sometime in the 80's. It is chambered in 30-338 which was a popular 1000yd cartridge at one point and I am told it won a California State Prone Championship match before my Uncle purchased it, don't remember if it was 600 or 1000 yards.

Anyway, I have included some picture for everyone to look at, please tell me what you think. I am going to use it to shoot a local 530yd front rest only F-class(ish) match. And does anyone know how I can attach a sling swivel to the rail?

Thanks,
Jeremy45

Dave,

Found the Harris adapter, that is exactly what I was needing thanks!

Big Rig, thanks for the link but I do not need the hand stop that I know of. The Harris adapter is $10 and looks like it will work perfectly.

Anybody know what kind of barrel life I can expect out of a rifle like this shooting F-Class?

Also, if you have a pet 30-338 load I'd be interested in it.

Thanks,
Jeremy
