Just received my new bergara b14 hmr in 6.5 creedmoor. My first impression was good with the exception that it had trouble ejecting unfired ammunition with full magazines. I cycled a few magazines and had a lot of shells get stuck in the area just above the magazine. Somehow the case would snag on the bolt raceway. At the range my first three shots were less than .5 moa at 100 yards. Shot about 30 rounds and all my groups were 1 moa or less. No issues with ejecting spent cases. Trigger was crisp and clean. Recoil was very light. Topped it off with a Leupold VX-6HD 3-18X44 scope on the 20 moa rail provided with the gun. Really looking forward to stretching it out to 700 yards. 20190119_124302.jpg20190119_143459.jpg

I've got the B14 Ridge in 300WM. I've been cleaning mine after every 5 rounds (load workup) and after settling on a load the groups with each shoot/clean cycle have been getting tighter. Mine will change group location depending on what type of brass is being shot, so recommend sticking with one brand of ammo or one lot of brass if reloading. As for ejection issue, I'd check for a burr on the raceway (I think its unlikely but never hurts) and then the ejector to make sure its functioning properly. Good looking setup!!

I have had a B-14 HMR in 308 for about a year and a half now. Its shot everything I've run through it sub MOA. Shot a match with it and it ran flawlessly. Issues I have with it is the barrel is on the thin side and I would like it to be a bit longer. Other is that some people have had some corrosion form on theirs, I have not had this issue but I clean all my rifles quite often. Other than that it has been one of the best sub 1k rifles I have ever shot
