Dry Fire.
Shoot.
Dry Fire.
Shoot.
Dry Fire.
Shoot.
Take a class.
Dry Fire.
Shoot.
Repeat as needed to achieve desired accuracy results.

Use good ammo.
Take notes.

Cheers,

And then when you're done, start the entire process over again.

Re: new to the forum and i have some questions

I would like to alter Doc's list to look like this...

Take a class.
Dry Fire.
Shoot.
Dry Fire.
Shoot.
Dry Fire.
Shoot.
Take a class.
Dry Fire.
Shoot.
Repeat as needed to achieve desired accuracy results.

I say so b/c without proper form, all that dry firing and shooting will both form bad habits, and waste lots of money in ammo.

I didn't take a class first, but I was very fortunate to be around very experienced shooters that started me off on the right path. I want to start taking more classes in the near future.

Re: new to the forum and i have some questions

The on-line training forum here is actually a great place to start, with a wealth of knowledge. You might be able to save a few bucks from expensive classes and self teach a little with the on line training.

Also, check this forum for training classes going on.
