New Upper Cal. Help??????

Building a DPMS 308LR and am undecided what cal. to make it. Ive already had a 24" bull in a 308 and was thinking about a 260 with a 20" or 24" barrel. This is nothing but a F@ck off rifle to shoot 1000yards and shooting PDogs, and will be wearing a 5.5-22x50 Nightforce. Any suggestions, Ive never been around a 260?????????

I have a loaded 260LR DPMS upper in the WTS. Shoots like a bolt gun only faster. Very low round count and all the options.

I like the idea of the .260 upper. I am currently gathering parts to build a .260 on the Armalite platform. Currenly I am thinking 20" barrel. Should be a great rifle to plink/hunt/target shoot with.
