Suppressors new XDM 3.8

I had the chance to shoot the new XDM 3.8 yesterday 3.8 is 3.8" barrel I like the ballance and it shoots very well the frame was the same as the 4.5". The Springfield rep was in the shop yesterday and still had no news on the XDM in .45 maybe they are waiting to bust it out at SHOT

I wish they had gone with the same dual grip system as the compact .45's for this gun, that barrel reduction would pair nicely with a shorter sized grip option for concealability. I want to love this new variation, but with all that grip still sticking out it's still just too large to be an ideal carry gun, and if an ideal range gun why the shorter barrel at all? Anyway, still waiting for news on an XD(m) .45 as well.

The 3.8 is a complete waste. Does nothing for concealability while reducing velocity and increasing recoil/muzzle flip.

I think it's a shame that they never came out with a 5" or longer gun in the first place. Trying to split the difference at 4.5" was a big mistake.

I like it, Can't wait to get one. Love the full size frame with the short slide. Wish they would have done that with the sub-compact.

I have a XDM which I love the 3.8 looks nice I hav'nt handled on yet. Are they being shipped yet?

Yes they are. My dealer had them in a couple of weeks ago.
