I just recently purchased a Savage 10FCP .308 (19055) with the Accu-trigger, Accu-stock and factory 5R rifling.

I could not find much here about these Savage rifles with the 5R rifling so I will post back here with a range review once my scope, etc comes in.

Yes, this model (#19055) is suppressor ready. Comes with a threaded barrel protector instead of the Savage muzzle brake.

Re: Newb member with a Savage 5R

I'll be interested if they foul like traditional Savage barrels. I have the 10FCP with HS Precision stock. Absolutely love it and wouldn't do it over again, but the fouling was a bit of a surprise when I first started shooting it. Hopefully the 5R will be an improvement in that area.

I purchased this one in 2009. Being a lefty I had to do the stock swap to the McMillan A5.

The rifle shoots great and I have no regrets. It's up to 660 rounds , 550 of which since the last barrel cleaning and still going strong. It's been reliable to 1000 yards with 175 SMK handloads. Anyone that says a Savage won't shoot has never owned or shot one.
