Rifle Scopes Newbie: IOR Crusader 5.8-40x56 40mm vs March-FX 5x-40x 56mm FFP

I am newbie here but I am seasoned rifle shooter.
Recently, I added a new rifle Steyr SSG04 in 300WM with factory certified accuracy of .67MOA
I need to select a new scope and I would be doing hand loads for my shooting.
I have access to 500 yrds range for handloads testing.
For 1,000yrds range, it's 2.5 hrs drive and I would only go there for matches.
I have affection for big magnification and clear glass.
The first scopes that picked my interest are:
1) IOR Valdada Crusader 5.8-40x56 with 40mm tube
2) March 5-40x56 with 34mm tube.
3) Vortex Gen2 Razor HD, 4.5-27x56 with 34mm tube.
4) Elusive 5-25x56 B.E.A.S.T.™ with 34 mm tube.

My rifle is a $2k class, I am willing to start at $2k but I may max at $3K for the optics.

Your thoughts are more than welcome.

March is by far the one you should look at. It beats all the rest of the competitors. The size is most compact, the turrets are a dream to work with and very low size with perfect amount of tension. Even at 40x you will get enough clarity so you can analize the target in detail and the floating dot in the middle is sweet to work with.The scope plays on a level where no one else has come up to today. The IOR is a very tough contender but size combined with slightly different optics than the March make the March the winner of the two. The BEAST and the Vortex I only looked at at the SHOT but I wouldn't place them on the same level. These are scopes that should be compared with such as PMII 5-25x56, USO 5-25x58, March 3-24x52, Steiner 5-25x56 or Kahles 6-24x56. To be able to get scopes with 8x magnification and still offer the optical quality that March offers is just absolutely wild. That combined with rugged construction and a repeatability that you can rely on is winning concept alltogether.

Just be aware the most high magnification scopes (>25x) tend to have less available elevation that you can dial, which makes them better suited to benchrest competition than the kind of long range shooting you'd get out of a .300WM. Personally, I would narrow it down to #3 & 4. Besides, getting to 1000 yards won't take more than 15x magnification.
