For all you guys running TAB gear slings who cant get the sewn 'pigtail' thru the sling bag, I talked to Tony at SHOT. We're working on a replacement section that *will* go thru the sling bag. Should be ready in a couple weeks.

neat idea and prevents you from forgetting you bag when running from stations.

the Red Tac gear bag kind of already did this. I'm not a fan of things hanging off my sling but I can see the application useful to those who don't mind it.

Not really. Looked at the Red Tac bag and its not even close. The sling bag becomes a part of your sling. Anything else is just something flopping around on the end of your rifle.

But, thats why theres different gear for different folks, eh?

Played around with one of these on George Gardners rifle at a match back in October. Liked it and ordered 3 from TJ. Really like em. Good job on the sewing John.

Sorry, we've been slammed lately and I was also researching an elastic that might work. The elastic isnt going to work so I will proceed with the 'tail'. I will try to get one built up this weekend. Its really up to TJ but I suspect it will be a separate purchase deal.

OK, Ill get a photo up asap, but we have the pigtail worked out. I have supplies on the way for guys that need them. Cost yet to be determined, but it wont break the bank. We'll have them separately or as a package with the bag.

Works on the TAB's Biathalon Sling...

So what I did was to strip off everything and send thru the TAB Biathalon sling. They I added my QD and bar tacked it twice and sent the velcro through the steel loop.

Works perfectly and can handle the heavy rifles as well.

Great product, great price. JC, just widen the channel and add a little length.

OK, FINALLY, I can catch my breath long enough to say I have the hardware and can supply a few fastex pigtails for guys running TAB Gear slings.

No pic yet but its just a replacement QD section thats not sewn together that you can run thru the sling bag.

Price will depend on what hardware youre running. Worst case is about $14 if youre running flush cups.
