I have an oppertunity to buy this scope for my 98B for 1500. It goes for 2300 in stres i hear. I have never loked thru a NF am curious if anyone else has actually used one. The guy has BORS as well that i could buy with the scope for 750. The scpe and BORS has been used with 20 rounds. I hear the MOA is half that of the NF 5.5-22x56. Is this a huge deal if i was to buy the correct mounts? Has anyone mounted one and shot a 98B with this optic on it? I just want to hear what people think the pros and cons are. thanks

I have one on my barrett 99, i love it, its a great scope,great quality glass, true though, you only have 65moa elevation travel but if you use the 40moa rings barrett has , it will still get you out there as far as you need to go.
-thats a pretty good price on the bors, if its in good working order.

I would advise you to get the 5.5-22x model and not mess with the bors. 22x is plenty on the top end and the extra adjustment will be much appreciated over the 32x model.

YA the BORS is brand new he paid 1200. Its actually a guy who runs a shop in town it was for him but he never got xtra money to buy a scope for it.
Ya barrett rings was what another guy here tld me. he said he can go out to 2000 yards still and that the 32 power helps a crap load when he does go out that far. I guess if i dont like it i can just sell it. I am hoping i can afford the 5.5-22x56 for my 5R and get the 8-32.56 for my 98B, just waiting on tax return. i should get 4400 back so i should make it. praying!!

Love mine, it is well known here that Nightforce is quality. I don't use 32X very much but on the calm, cool, days it is nice to have in my pocket. One negative to the 32X is no Zero Stop is available. I have the NPR1 and it is very user friendly. I think they are over 1700.00 now.

Really no zero drop? hmmmm that would be nice.... Well i live in a cold ass enviroment, it never gets over 65 in the summer, but it rains a lot. I think im going to get the 32x ill just not use all the power unless conditions let me. I would think 22 power on the 32x would be as clear as the 5.5-22x56 wouldnt it? the only real reason i could think of to not the the 32x is the MOA. but with barrett rings i should be able to get 100moa of elevation total if ive done my research right. Are my thoughts accurate?

I ordered an 8-32 last month with zero stop and HS turrents. I was told all scopes built after feb 1 would have these features as standard. At a higher price of course. And a 8-10 week lead.

For me the 8-32 is a comprimise scope. Low enough mag to hunt with and high enough to shoot F-class. My 10x SS and old eyes just wont cut it anymore.
