NF ATACR

Hey guys!! I have been running an NF NXS for 15 years. I am now 55 years old. I’m starting to get old man vision. So I have been looking at moving to the NF ATAC line with the full ED glass.
I would like to look through one before purchasing.
I’m in College Station Tx. And am in Temple and near Waco weekly.

Bill - I'm up about an hour north of Waco. We have a 1250yd range here and I would be willing to let you shoot behind a few different ATACRS if you make it up this way.

Bill, go to Navasota we run big monthly PRS club matches. You can look though literally any scope money can buy there on the third Saturday of every month.

I just sold a 5.5-22x50 NXS and bought a 5-25x56 Atacr. I'm not a optics expert but here's my thoughts.
The Atacr brings out colors better
The Atrac resolution is pretty close to the NXS
The Atrac is brighter
The Atrac tunnels from 5 to 7 power, it should be called a 7-25 in my opinion
I wish the Atacr had a illuminated reticle control knob and not the push button
Is it worth the extra $800? not to me but i'm going to keep it.

I love my 7-35 atacr my only complaint is that there’s some tunneling at 7x but goes away halfway between the 7x at 10x hash.
