Re: Nice Looking Spider

That looks like a "HarlyBitchthatfelloff spider"... just sayin.

Whatever it is...it's a female. Might be a "junkinthatrunk spider"

with a caboose like THAT, it should be duking it out on Jerry Springer, not climbing on your downspout.

Lol! They are Australian spiders...

I recognize most of them from my backyard!

Seems they got a bit lazy in their website preparation.

Update: Ow, I take it back... Looks like one of the lines of spiders is different - But you do really have Huntsmen and Wolf spiders in the US?

Re: Nice Looking Spider

Yep, we have Huntsman and Wolf spiders here in the US, but I've never heard of Mouse Spiders or Black House spiders.

Spider could be a juvenile female Latrodectus mactans as well, common name Black Widow.

From Australia where everything that crawls, walks, slithers or farts is poisonous &/or has lots of teeth & a nasty disposition or all of the above.

It doesn't look like a Sydney Funnelweb ........good thing......Sydney Funnelwebs are a nasty piece of work on 8 legs that can land you in the hospital or the mortuary.
